Although already available in the United Kingdom, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has still not reached fans in other parts of the world. In the US, Verizon hasn’t officially launched yet the Android Ice Cream Sandwich packing smartphone. Japan is luckier though, because Samsung will be launching the Galaxy Nexus through DoCoMo on December 2.
Japanese fans of the Nexus Prime will finally be able to get their hands on the new Samsung phone. Equipped with a monstrous 4.65 inch display screen complete with a Super AMOLED HD touch screen capabilities, the Galaxy Nexus also features a powerful 1.2GHz dual core processor, a 5MP rear facing camera complete with LED flash and a 1.3 MP front facing one.
The Japanese version of Galaxy Nexus will feature the same specifications as the one released in the UK, but fans are hoping that there won’t be any volume bug problems.
Other specifications of the phone include 1080p video capability, face unlock, NFC, WiFi Hotspot, WiFi, 4G LTE, and HSPA+ connectivity.
Although NTT DoCoMo has already listed the release date for the handset, fans are yet to know how much they will be paying for it. Analysts say however that the Galaxy Nexus will likely be received well by the Japanese market.
